“Today is your day”
You have the ability to make today your day. The day you decide to live your life the way you want to. The day you decide you will hit your goals. You get to make today YOUR day. You get to make that decision every day. But it’s up to you to do it.
A little over 2 years ago, I was crying in a bathtub…feeling lost, unhappy with myself, my health/fitness, my lack of energy. The next day I randomly became an online health coach and changed the way my life was going.
Funny thing is, my husband was super skeptical…asking if I was going to be one of those people posting all the time on social media and posting selfies…of course I said “No way..I’m just going to workout with some of my friends”….bahahaha…how things have changed. However, as skeptical as he was, and as scared and skeptical as I was…I started changing that day.
2 years later, he was encouraging me to quit my job and be a full time Beachbody coach. For Christmas, he got me this mug, telling me he thought it would be a good one for me to post on Facebook since I like posting motivational things.
He wasn’t all in in the beginning. I had to give up some time in the evenings for my business…time I really didn’t have…time him and I usually got to spend together. I travel 2-4 times a year for retreats, success trips, horrible, awful, beach trips, haha. Yet he came around, from complaining about me being on my phone and worried I was going to be “one of those people on Facebook” to buying me inspirational mugs and being my biggest supporter. I’m so grateful he loves me through my crazy adventures.
I made the decision to make a change 2 years ago. This doesn’t mean I don’t have bad days, or that I never fall off track with my health/fitness/life….but I have now learned I have the abillity to take control every day. I made the decision to work on myself and grow every day. What a great reminder that “Today is your day”. Remind yourself of that EVERY day.
Today can be your day if you want it to. You get to make it what you want to make it. No excuses about the circumstances around you that you can’t control. Quit focusing on those. I promise, you do have the ability to make today your day, and you have the ability to do that every day. Today is your day. What are you going to do about it?
