Drinking my evening coffee, sitting next to Charlie, and writing some notes for my team meeting next week on “VULNERABILITY”. That’s a scary word. Coming from someone who was a complete introvert, never shared or communicated feelings, never even cried at funerals…that word is VERY SCARY!

I have a team that is teaching me that to have a true relationship, to truly help people, you have to be vulnerable. You have to be your authentic self..the good, the bad, the ugly. How many things are there in this world that we don’t talk about..that we feel alone with…when in reality there are probably more people than we know going through the same thing!

Do you know how amazing and refreshing it feels when you open up and become vulnerable? Trust me…I’m still a work in progress. But wow…it allows such deeper relationships…it allows a more natural happiness. It’s kind of hard to describe. I highly recommend Brene Brown’s “The Power of Vulnerability” audiobook if you have any interest in this subject. I could listen to it over and over agin.

What is holding you back? What causes you to cry? What past events do you keep locked inside you? What stresses do you struggle to overcome? What would happen if you started talking about it?
